Frequently Asked Questions

The Trader.

You have seen the field. Now the lens turns around — onto the one thing on it you actually control: you. How you survive, execute, and hold when it turns against you. Four courses, and then the crossing.

SIMFI 108

Win by Not Dying

Most traders obsess over the perfect entry. The market kills them with one bad day they couldn’t walk away from. You can’t win the game if you’re not at the table tomorrow.

What you’ll be able to do

  • Size a position so a single loss can never end you.
  • Understand the math of ruin.
  • Set the lines you will not cross before pressure hits.

Why it matters

Lose 50% of an account and you need a 100% gain just to get back to even. Survival isn’t the boring part of trading. It is the whole game.

What you’ll do

You’ll size each trade against how much you can lose and still come back, then draw your hard lines while you are calm so they hold when you are not.

Run a Clean Session

Two traders take the same setup. One follows a routine. One trades on feel. Over a hundred trades, it is not close. Talent is inconsistent. A process isn’t.

What you’ll be able to do

  • Run a repeatable routine from pre-market to close.
  • Build a pre-trade checklist that survives a fast market.
  • Separate a good decision from a good outcome.

Why it matters

A good trade can lose. A bad trade can win. Grade the decision, not the result, or you learn the wrong lesson every time.

What you’ll do

You’ll build your operating routine — what you check before entry, how you manage the trade, and how you close and review the session.

Stay in Your Zone

You knew the rule. You broke it anyway. Not because you forgot — because the moment money was on the line, a different part of you took the wheel.

What you’ll be able to do

  • Recognize revenge, chasing, and tilt as they start.
  • Understand why real money changes your body, not just your mind.
  • Build a plan to steady and reset yourself.

Why it matters

Under real stakes, stress chemistry changes your appetite for risk. The trader who can name the feeling can manage it.

What you’ll do

You’ll spot your own patterns and build simple routines to steady your state before you start and reset when you drift.

Cleared for Takeoff

Ten courses. Hundreds of reps. A Risk Read, an Execution OS, and a State Plan. Now you stop practicing pieces. Now you fly the whole mission.

What you’ll be able to do

  • Assemble your work into one Operating System.
  • Fly a complete mission, planned and scored end to end.
  • Prove the skill under pressure on simulated capital.

Why it matters

A skill you can show in pieces isn’t proven yet. The crossing is where the pieces become one operator.

What you’ll do

You’ll meet the SORTIE — one complete training mission: plan, read conditions, rehearse, debrief, fly the scored session, and face the gate.
